Whether you want to mount the device in a vehicle, forklift truck or in the warehouse/factory – we have the solution for you.

All our tablets are designed to be portable, however, it doesn’t mean they have to be. Our solution allows your tablets to be portable as well as equipped with versatile mounting capabilities. Enabling the rugged xTablets to be fixed securely in position when hands-free use is required. Our solutions apply to the Flex 10A, Flex 10B, Microsoft Surface Series, Lenovo K10 and the Apple iPad Series.

The Snap Mount

Our MobileDemand Rugged tablet cases all come with a snap mount as standard. The snap mount is made with ease in mind, it can make your fixed tablet portable with one simple push of a lever. You’re probably wondering, what does the snap mount to? Now the answer to this question depends on the environment you are working in but let’s cover some of the options that we have available.

No Drill Vehicle Mount

Allows the device to quickly mount and unmount for fast transitions from vehicle to field. The base attaches securely to the passenger seat floor bolt providing a convenient, easy to install, no-drill solution. Double socket arm provides full articulation for precise tablet positioning.

Wall Mount

The wall mount allows for your tablet to be mounted to a wall, this works best with an short fixed arm allowing you to have a good place to leave your tablet next to you during your task whilst making it accessible. This application usually best suits production lines and factories. It is also ideal for access controls, for example clocking in and out of shifts.

Pole/rail Mounts

The pole/rail mounts comes in a couple of configurations, you can either get a claw which will wrap around a pole or rail, making for easy attachment and removal without the requirement for tools.

Alternatively, you can use two plates which tighten around the pole for a fitting you do not plan on moving often, this also offers a much more secure mounting point for adjustable arms. This solution is often used in warehouses, production, and construction.

Magnetic mount

The magnetic mount is self-explanatory, it is an ideal mount for somewhere with a lot of metal mounting points. It’s excellent for on-the-move mounting.

Though it is recommended that you either use a snap mount only or a C/D Ball on a short arm – to ensure the magnet does not fall off.

When it comes to mounting arms there are 3 common choices

Long Fixed Arm: An arm perfect for uses where the device needs to be far from the mounting point but benefits from stiffness and no manoeuvrability

Standard Fixed Arm: An arm for having the device parted from the surface.

Short Fixed Arm: An arm ideal for having the device close to the mounting point where manoeuvrability is not needed.

Power Solution

Your surface power solution is very much dependent on where you plan on using it.

If you plan on fixed to a wall, pole, or another stationary surface. Your best solution would be using the provided power cable plugged into a wall socket. This can be cable managed along the arm.

However, if you plan on using your surface in a vehicle, the best solution for this would with a Cigarette lighter power adapter. If your vehicle does not have a CLA, we have a solution to directly wire a charger to the vehicle, please contact us to find out more.

The CLA charger provides 30W and the standard charger provides 24W
