Mounting MobileDemand Rugged Tablets
Whether you want to mount it in a vehicle, forklift truck or in the warehouse/factory – we have the solution for you.
All our MobileDemand rugged tablets are designed to be portable, however it doesn’t mean they have to be. Our solution still allows the Devices to be portable as well as have a strong fixed position when hands free use is required. Our solutions are for the T1190, T1180, A1180, T1150, T8650, T1270, T1680
The Snap Mount
Our MobileDemand Rugged tablets all come with a snap mount rail as standard – except the T1680. The snap mount is made with ease in mind, it can make your fixed Mobile demand tablet portable with one simple push of a lever. You’re probably wondering, what does the snap mount actually mount to? Now the answer to this question depends on the environment you are working in but let’s cover some of
the options that we have available.

This is the heading
Docking
Featured Applications
The docking solution is a great way to improve your tablet’s use, especially in a vehicle. It allows you to have a secure power connector with it fixed into the dock, meaning it will not fall out. It will also add an arsenal of I/O ports to your disposal, and gives you the option to add a keyboard and other devices.
It is a great option if you want to have additional features and plan on leaving your device in the mounted position. Of course you can remove the device when needed. Though it is designed for having everything there in one place.

Wall mount
The wall mount allows for your MobileDemand tablet to be mounted to a wall, this works best with an short fixed arm allowing you to have a good place to leave your surface next to you during your task whilst making it accessible. This application usually best suits production lines and factories. It is also ideal for access controls, for example clocking in and out of shifts.
Pole & Rail Mounts
The pole/rail mounts come in a couple configurations, you can either get a claw which will wrap around a pole or rail, making for easy attachment and removal without the requirement for tools. Alternatively, you can use two plates which tighten around the pole for a fitting you do not plan on moving often, this also offers a much more secure mounting point for adjustable arms. This solution is often used in warehouses, production, and construction.

Magnetic Mount
The magnetic mount is self-explanatory; it has six strong magnets on a metal plate with a snap mount or ball, an ideal mount for somewhere with a lot of metal mounting points. It’s excellent for on-the-move mounting.
Though it is recommended that you either use a snap mount only or on a short arm – to ensure the magnet does not fall off.
Mounting Arms options
Long Fixed Arm An arm perfect for uses where the device needs to be far from the mounting point but benefits from stiffness and no maneuverability.
Standard Fixed Arm An arm for having the device parted from the surface.
Short Fixed Arm An arm ideal for having the device close to the mounting point where maneuverability is not needed.

Powerful Solution
Your MobileDemand tablet power solution is very much dependent on where you plan on using it.
If you plan on fixing the device to a wall, pole, or another stationary surface. Your best solution would be using the provided power cable plugged into a wall socket. This can be cable managed along the arm.
However, if you plan on using your MobileDemand tablet in a vehicle, the best solution for this would with a Cigarette lighter power adapter. If your vehicle does not have a CLA, we have a solution to directly wire a charger to the vehicle, please contact us to find out more.
The CLA charger provides 72W with an input of 11-27V DC and the standard charger provides 65W with an input of 100-240V AC
